In 2013, United States Army AH-64 pilot Lieutenant Colonel Allen Hahn set out to establish an organization to honor pilots killed and the families left behind, educate the general public, and most of all heal ourselves. Hence, the formation of the Apache Warrior Foundation.
Today, the mission of the Apache Warrior Foundation (a non-profit 501(c)(3)) is to support the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter community by Honoring our fallen and our living, Healing the emotional scars, and Educating everyone about the Apache gunship and the skill and sacrifice of the Apache Warrior Community that keeps our country free. We strive to assist our Warriors and their families in the transition and reconnection from the military unit back to family life through Attack Adventures, career, and mental health resources.
We HONOR our fallen Warriors and their Gold Star families. We HONOR those individuals and their families who have served and continue to serve the Apache Warrior community around the globe.
We HEAL our Apache Warrior community of the emotional scars, voids from loss of friends, and disconnection from the family and military unit as a result of life in the attack community.
We EDUCATE our families and the public about the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter and the work of the brave men and women who fly, maintain, and arm the Apache gunship.
You'll be glad you did !
